Abstract

The present project investigates the bioethical dimensions of environmental education in primary schools as they are shown in the Guide of Development of Environmental Activities. In the theoretical part anthropocentric and ecocentric theories of environmental ethics as well as the rights of future generations are analyzed. Then we study the historical development of the environmental ethics even in relation with the main ideology as it is expressed through the official curricula. In the research part of the project we find with the method of content Analysis that the Guide which has been studied has to do with topics that are related to environmental ethics and its direction is mildly anthropocentric.
