Περίληψη	This thesis explores correlation functions in the AdS/CFT correspondence. Using the supergravity approximation we compute the two-point functions of scalar and vector fields. The same calculation is performed for a general Conformal Field Theory. Further- more, we compute Witten diagrams that provide first and second order contributions to conformal correlators in the large N limit. The Witten diagrams are written in the Mellin representation and their associated Mellin amplitude is calculated.
