Abstract

The increased energy needs and the depletion of natural resources at the last decades have turned the science community to find appropriate systems for exploitation of renewable energy sources. The purpose of this thesis was to synthesis a porphyrin complex for its deposition to perovskite solar cells with the role of improving the half life of the device. After the synthesis, the porphiryn was purified by column chromatography and characterized by UV-Vis spectrometry and MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry
