Abstract For the past two decades, pathways reconstructions to well studied organisms, is almost a routine. The long record of substances that are produces away from their natural environment is been multiplying daily in scientific reports. Especially nowadays that human need for commercially interesting molecules is expanding. Antioxidant substances markets grow is a typical example. Modern west way of life characterised by fast nutrition habits show increasing needs for novel antioxidant food supplements. Resveratrol (trans-3,5,4’-trihydroxystilbene) is a stilbene found among others plants in grapevine (Vitis vinefera) possess special properties that it is been credit due, it appears to have pesticide affect against a very important crop disease caused by Botrytis cinerea. In present study some efforts made to exploit current knowledge on phenylopropanoind pathways reconstruction and setting up resveratrol biosynthesis with in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. This involves genes Phenylalanine Ammonia Layse (PAL), Cinnamic acid 4-hydroxylase (C4H), 4-coumarate:CoA ligase (4CL), Resveratrol synthase (RS) which were inserted in vector system pESC by STRATAGENE in presence of a Cytochrome P450 reductase (CPR). In results mentioned the overall plasmid construction functionality, gene of interest normal induction within sacharomyces and the production of an intermediate molecule of this biosynthesis. With a series of suggestions in procudures described here, final resveratrol production made able.
