Abstract In the framework of the postgraduate studies program "Education Sciences - Distance learning using the e-Learning of the Pedagogical Department of Primary Education of the School of Sciences of the University of Crete, a learning material was created with the methodology of the supplementary distance learning in the course of the physics class of the General Lyceum for the first grade. The material was used for repetitive teaching of movement unity based on the curriculum of the Ministry of Education shortly before the promotional examinations at the students of Alikianos High School, emphasizing on the students' misconceptions. Quantitative and qualitative research was carried out to identify students' satisfaction with the learning process on nine different thematic axes, according to quality criteria selected after literature research, from the practice of mainly tertiary education with long and extensive field experience. The survey was conducted with an electronic questionnaire and showed a positive attitude of students towards all the qualitative thematic axes. The results of the research also show the students' suggestions for the qualitative upgrading of the material on each thematic axis and highlight their positive and negative experiences. This is a tool for the further formative assessment of the process so that it can be enriched and improved to meet the real needs arising from their physical distance from the school and cultural environment at a time when they are not in school. At the same time, these results constitute a springboard for deeper study with proposals for new research as well as proposals for the creation and use of learning materials using distance education methodology.
