Abstract

Porphyrins are aromatic compounds offering coordination polyhedrons of various numbers. The properties of the formed complexes can be controlled by the number, the position and the nature of the peripheral substituents . Five coordinated complexes of Tl and Rh are presented in this thesis as precursors for the formation of dimes with metal-metal bond. The synthesis of the monomers complexes with OEP-2 and TPP-2 rings are presented and the synthesis of the corresponded dimmers with Rh-Tl bond.
