Abstract The purpose of this paper was to utilize and evaluate an educational material designed to teach, according to the distance learning method, using the inverted class model, to students in the third grade of Vocational High Schools (EPAL), the subnetting section. Initially, the definition and characteristics of distance education are referenced, as also the ones of the inverted class. In the bibliographic review of relevant research in that field, it was shown that in the Greek education system, in secondary education and especially in EPAL, there are only a few examples of courses with this method, while even less use the inverted class model. Its assessment was originally planned for students of the 3rd grade of EPAL, but due to the situations created by the closure of schools because of the covid-19 pandemic, the original plan was changed, resulting in the search of the evaluation to be attended exclusively by teachers, who recorded their views in a questionnaire given to them in order to evaluate the present material, on one hand, whether it has been made according to the specifications of distance education, and on the other hand, regarding with the multimedia elements available. The results of the research, which should be emphasized that they cannot be generalized due to the small sample we had, showed that this material has many positive elements and can help learners to study the section it’s dealing with, which is part of a nationwide course exams. With its ease of use and easy-to-understand presentation of the subject in a simple language, students are able to properly assimilate this unit and still have the ability to test their acquired knowledge from the existing activities. All this does not lack some remarks that can help the material to improve even more
