Abstract Venous thromboembolism is a major complication that is observed after orthopedic surgery. Patients hospitalized for restoration of bone defects receiving low molecular weight heparins to prevent lumps. Long-term treatment with heparin has been associated with osteoporosis, resulting negative effect on restoration of bone defects . The purpose of this study was the effect of different concentrations of low molecular weight heparins with the tradename Clexane, Fraxiparine, Heparin Leo and Ivormax in bone differentiation of osteoblastic cells. The experimental findings showed that these drugs are not toxic to the viability and proliferation of pre-osteoblastic cells. In bone differentiation there are some variations in different concentrations of low molecular heparins In the second part , investigated the effect of porosity and pore size in samples of calcium phosphate in pre- osteoblastic cells in terms of viability , proliferation and morphology. Specifically , cell proliferation increased in samples with porosity 75 % compared with 60 % porosity, without playing a particular role pore size (0.28 or 0.50 mm). Furthermore, the excellent cell morphology, renders these materials suitable biomaterials for use in the regeneration bone.
