Abstract Distance and online learning technologies are becoming increasingly important in the educational environment as they are directly related to the developing capabilities of technology. Conventional patterns of learning and operation, in addition to people's favored data sources, have undergone significant changes such as improvements in computing services, disk capabilities, cloud technology capabilities, and digital marketing applications due to the increase in the number of users. of the Internet. The need to strengthen educational programs and learning resources has arisen as a result of these developments. Because of this great need to enhance educational programs carried out by the method of distance education, many theories and methodologies have been developed for the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of educational materials of distance education. Any educational institution that falls short of these standards for distance education is very likely to reduce its student numbers as it will begin to struggle to design educational programs in a modern educational context. The purpose of this paper is to present an integrated intervention for distance education, i.e. the presentation of the design, development, implementation and evaluation of a digital educational material. This digital training material aims to educate teachers about eTwinning programs, how to apply for them, the benefits they provide and to train teachers on the ten steps they need to take to have a successful eTwinning program. The evaluation of the educational material was carried out by completing a questionnaire by the participants in the training and its qualitative analysis. The results of the research showed that the digital educational material followed the basic principles of distance education and multimedia learning, thus achieving its design goals.
