Abstract

The purpose of this research work was the design, creation, implementation and evaluation of a comprehensive intervention of complementary distance learning, using interactive educational material on the cultivation of love of reading in students of third class of Primary School. Τhe methodology of distance education as well as the principles of the theory of Multimedia Learning. This hardware was created using h5p software in a CMS environment and integrated into an LMS environment. For the formative evaluation of the educational material, a qualitative research was conducted. Data were collected through a questionnaire consisting of open – ended questions. The sampling was intentional and included distance learning specialists and students of the 3rd grade of Primary School. The data processing was done with qualitative content analysis. The evaluation showed that the educational material created was easy to use, understandable, documented, interactive and in accordance with the methodology of distance learning.
