Abstract |
In the modern era of information, digital technology and globalization, the energy needs
of our society are constantly rising. The main power sources of our planet are
decreasing rapidly and also destroy the environment with the pollutants they produce.
For this reason, in recent years, science has been employed with the use of renewable
energy sources like solar and wind energy, which are environmentally friendly.
The purpose of this thesis was the synthesis of two complexes fortheir potential use in
dye-sensitized-solar-cells. The first molecule was a ferrocene combined with a pyridine
through anethelin bridge in trans position. This molecule was synthesized for a porphyrin
antenna system. The second molecule synthesized was thebis-(Ph2N-Ph)-bis-(DoE)-
porphyrinand this porphyrin will be layeredon a perovskite solar cell.
After the molecules were synthesized, they were isolated by column chromatography
and characterized by NMR spectroscopy and MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry.
