Abstract

In the present PhD Thesis, we were involved with the synthesis, characterization and study of the magnetic properties of manganese complexes, of the triad Μn_n+/RCO_2-/R₁R₂C=NOH (n≥2). reaction system. We were able to isolate, characterize and study the complexes. The investigation of the magnetic properties of the complexes, led us to safe conclusions regarding the ground/excited spin states of the complexes, the magnetic exchange interactions present, as well as magnetic relaxation phenomena.
