Abstract Nowadays society is flooded with images, sounds, information exchange, communication and interaction through technology, social networks and applications. What is more logical for this framework to be integrated in the teaching process. New, modern forms of teaching must "invade" the child's way of learning and help him to understand in his own way. So the questions that arise effortlessly are many: What is the relationship of secondary school teachers with these methods? Do they know them and to what extent? If not, do they want to know? Do they want to be educated? Does their school support them in this endeavor? These questions need to be answered and that is the purpose of this paper. Our research, through the evaluation of the answers given in a structured questionnaire to explore teachers 'attitudes and perceptions, came to a series of important conclusions that demonstrate the need to use modern teaching methods, teachers' willingness for training and the need modernization of schools with appropriate digital media.
