Abstract The need for the political emancipation of the disabled is brought to light by the social model's assertion that the concepts of disability and social oppression are inexorably intertwined. The rise of the internet and the widespread use of social media, especially in the modern era, have helped to reinforce the disability movement since they have made it easier to engage, share ideas, and encourage political action. However, despite being a global phenomenon that impacts all facets of society, disability has not received the attention it merits from the scientific community, and the body of study literature that is now available is rather limited. The current study attempts a thorough examination of the various aspects of disability with a focus on individual experience. The specific relationship between the type of impairment and how one experiences disability is the focus of the study's inquiry. This study's goal is to use the digital environment of the Facebook group "Disabled Women" as a field of inquiry for the analysis of issues related to identity, social interactions, and the articulation of political discourse. The data were analyzed using thematic content analysis. The group's character and historical development are briefly outlined in the first section, and the main discussion topics are then presented in the following sections, which are broken down into four main categories: encouraging political action, addressing social inclusion concerns, highlighting oppression, and finally, communicating with one another and documenting the group members' experiences. The report finishes with a brief assessment of the variables that affected how the study was conducted as well as an analysis of the constraints on data collection and analysis.
