Abstract The aim of this thesis is the critical reconstruction of four writings published by K. Marx between 1842 and 1844. The analysis of Marx’s selected writings is conducted through the lens of the "Jewish Question", with the critical assessment of which the present study culminates. The intention is, on the one hand, to reconstruct Marx’s argument, as unfolded in each of his writings, and, on the other hand, to clarify the specific type of criticism. At the same time, through the analysis of the writings, i will attempt to capture the specific character of the marxian critique, viz the thorough presentation of the opposing argument and its critical reconstruction. Marx criticizes the political management of content, emphasizing its inherent contradictions, while revealing that these contradictions are expressed in politics through the mechanism of law and the state. Arguably, the study of these articles is important as we can trace in them a gradual shift of his critique towards explicitly social issues. Starting from the problems that arise when dealing with social issues, we can monitor the process of radicalization of the Marxian critique from the narrow and particular horizon/framework of Prussian reality to the critique of the modern political principle itself. Therefore, following Marx’s argument, we attempt to prove that his critique concerns- and results in- the examination of the very regulatory requirements of modern politics.
