Abstract

The purpose of this thesis is to examine the Liberal Democracies within the European Union. For this reason, Hungary and Poland have been chosen as key examples of illiberalism. This study focuses on the areas of Judicial Power, the Media Regime as well as Civil Rights with a focus on the cases of Women's Abortion and LGBT people trying to start a family.
