Abstract	The insurance system, the welfare state as well as social policy are at the center of this study. The reason for mentioning the subject in question is the critical nature of these parameters for each state and in particular for the Greek State. From the beginnings of the Greek State, the model of institutionalization and subsequent reforms followed the model of multiple imprints of other standards and positions due to the frequent inability of international positioning through the national strategy. Therefore, institutions and positions were almost completely imprinted in national politics over time, with the result that a genuine political initiative designed and adapted to the needs of each era and to the national reality is missing. This systematic observation will be found by the reader in the issue under consideration, together with a host of factors that constituted the constant and relentless reminder that national politics was the subject of a multitude of reforms.
