Abstract

This master dissertation presents the route of the commercial employees trade union of Heraklion -one of the oldest trade unions of the cretan town- during the period 1916-1975. The dissertation emphasises on the action of the organisation in the local society of Heraklion and on its political position in the struggle which took place in the interior of the greek worker's movement during the above mentioned period.
