Abstract

Μετάφραση περίληψης σε γλώσσα: ENG : The hight tibial Osteotomy has been established as a method of choice, giving satisfactory results in treating patients with osteoarhrosis of the medial knee compartment, by correcting the varus deformity.Using Coverty's strict criteria for our patients we performed close wedge high tibial osteotomy to correct varus deformity of the knee in 56 patients (totaly 66 osteotomies), appling the internal fixation system as described by "A.Renieris".Biomechanic experimental study performed included axial compression exceeding 350 Kp and torsion up to 13 degrees.
