Abstract

120 children with Down's syndrome were examined during the period 1988-1990. Clinical examination included otoscopy, tympanometry, acoustical reflexes, pure-tone audiometry and evoked responses were taken. The observations made concerning minimal and average degree of hearing loss pertained to the conduction type hearing loss. Diagnostic method included both objective and subjective testing in conjuction with relevant cross-checks and comparative analysis of these results.
