Abstract	This thesis is about the ancient greek tragedy, the abilities and the limits of approaching it in preschool education. Firstly, there is an attempt tp approach the ancient tragedy and the ancient theatre generally, to continue with the theatre in education and how these two objects can connect and interact for a researching approach in preschoolers. In this way, we try to consider how the kids can receive some of the basic elements of the ancient tragedy by using educating activities that come under the theatre in education. For this reason the ancient tragedy Eleni of Euripides has been used and shaping up in such a way that it could be received an worked out by the preschoolers.
