Abstract The present research aims to investigate the views of primary and secondary education teachers on the issue of the contribution and reinforcement of the teachers 'association in school administration and the way in which law 4327/2015 can be used in the future as an element of democratic reinforcement and participation of the teachers' association. This research comes to illuminate this research field at a time, when the literature intensifies the reason for taking initiatives and actions on the part of teachers, for strengthening the autonomy of the school unit and the decentralization of education. The survey is quantitative and the questionnaire was chosen as the most appropriate method of data collection, while for the analysis of the data, descriptive and inductive statistics, were preferred through the SPSS program.20. It was found that the teachers, despite their unsatisfactory participation in the school administration and the lack of knowledge of the regulatory framework, wish as members of the teachers ' association to actively participate in decision-making and to have a number of responsibilities and thematic areas. In fact, they associate the effectiveness of the school unit with the participation of teachers. Furthermore, law 4327/2015 seems to be evaluated positively by teachers, while, finally, an attempt is made a comparison between teachers of primary and secondary education.
