Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine a) the differences in the views of parents and teachers regarding the occurrence of behavioral problems in preschool age (4-6 years) and in the first school age (6-8 years), b) the factors that shape the views of parents and teachers about the occurrence of behavioral problems at these ages and c) what is the value that parents and teachers attach to working together to address the behavioral problems of preschool and school children. The study used the research tool of the questionnaire, to which 130 teachers and 150 parents of infants and primary school children were asked to answer. The results of the research showed that there is a difference in the views of parents and teachers as to what is considered problematic behavior, but there is no difference depending on the age of the child. Also, the participants pay special attention to the cooperation. The results of the research give rise to further studies.
