Abstract The present study investigates if the art of dance improves motor creativity and the rhythm of preschool children. A sample of 85 children is being researched and the tools used are the Thinking Creatively in Action and Movement Test (TCAM) and the Mira Stambak (1951) rhythm test. The results showed that the three-month intervention in the experimental group improved the motor creativity of these children, but not their rhythm.
