Abstract

In the context of the present study, the use of Projection Mapping was investigated in different types and levels of Education. In addition, the educational material was designed, implemented and evaluated for those who wish to obtain knowledge or expand their knowledge about this Technology. For the implementation of the Educational Material, the methodology of Distance Education was used, as well as Mayer's principles of Multimedia Learning. The Educational Material was created in H5P software and integrated into Chamilo e-learning environment. In order to evaluate the Educational Material, a qualitative research was conducted in two phases. In the first phase of the research, the sample was consisted of three (3) experts in Distance Education and in the second phase of the research, the sample was consisted of eleven (11) Primary and Secondary Education teachers, who are postgraduate students of the University of Crete. The data collection instruments were questionnaires with open-close questions, one for each group of the participants. The results of the survey showed that the Educational Material is easy to use, interesting and original, it is presented in a simple and comprehensive way, it is interactive, supports the learners in their study and guides them in self-learning, while it provides continuous feedback to the learners and enables them in self-evaluation. Finally, the Educational Material includes the purpose and the expected learning outcomes, to which it responds and is consistent with the principles of Multimedia Learning.
