Abstract

This dissertation focuses on Euro-Atlantic relations and was prepared in the context of the completion of my studies at the Department of Political Science of the University of Crete. I was interested in international relations since I was first taught it as a subject in the department and so I decided to do this work and do my own research. My goal during the writing process was both to cover the issue as best as possible I could and to simplify it to make it easier for readers to understand the dissertation. Foreign policy is the main pillar, as the title suggests, and Euro-Atlantic relations are a complex and long-standing phenomenon that has preoccupied and troubled many scientists. I hope the content of this work is substantial and meets all kinds of readers requirements.
