Abstract OUR GOAL WAS TO LIST THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CONTENT IN PHYSICS EXAMINATIONS TO INVESTIGATE THE WAY BY WHICH TEACHERS EXAMINE THEIR STUDENTS IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS, AND DETERMINE THE CONTENT VALIDITY OF THEIR EXAMINATIONS. DATA COLLECTION INCLUDED SYSTEMATIC OBSERVATION OF THE LESSONS IN GYMNASIUM C'CLASSES AND LYCEUM B'CLASSES, AND QUESTIONNAIRE TO TEACHERS. THE ELABORATION OF THE RESULTS SHOWED THE LOW CONTENT VALIDITY OF THE EXAMINATIONS WHICH DEPENDED ON THE ATTITUDES OF THE TEACHERS AGAINST THE GOALS OF THE CURRICULUM AND ON THE SEX SPECIALITY AND GENERAL GRADE OF THE DEGREE OF THE TEACHERS OF PHYSICS
