Abstract This thesis is related to the investigation of the factors contributing on behalf of the Albanian population, to leave their birthplace. In the following parts, are emphasized the conditions that became the reason for the Albanian immigration to Greece and the role played by their culture to this decision. To be more specific, the percentage of people removing from Albania to Greece, as long as the features of the latest as host country will be further analyzed. Moreover, will be mentioned the obstacles that immigrants may confront in their new country and whether these may overcome. Finally, the question arises whether the love the new place is possible to overcome the desire to return to the place of their ancestors, whether the latter is related to survival existent problems, which resulted from the Greek financial crisis
