Abstract While the legal framework for education is moving in the direction of integrating students with disabilities into general education, implementation in practice runs into a variety of obstacles and is sometimes a positive and sometimes a negative experience. This qualitative research analyzes the interviews of six primary school teachers in the public education system of Greece. Their views and attitudes regarding co-education in general education classes are being highlighted and their concerns and suggestions are studied.
