Abstract The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of an intervention program with and without the use of ICT, lasting a total of six weeks, which included activities in the form of theatrical and creative play, improvisation and other creative activities on motor creativity and creative thinking of preschool children. The sample of our research consists of a total of 66 children, 36 boys and 30 girls, 38 of them pre-school children and 28 infants who attended Public Kindergartens in the inland of the Prefecture of Rethymno, during the School Year 2018-2019. Our sample was randomly divided into two Experimental groups (Experimental group 1: n = 33 and Experimental group 2: n = 33). Experimental group 1 received interventions without the use of ICT, while Experimental group 2 received interventions using ICT. It should be noted that the theme of the interventions remained the same for both groups and the only thing that changed was the use or not of ICT in them. The evaluation of children's motor creativity was done with the Greek version of the TCAM test (Thinking Creatively in Action and Movement Torrance, 1981) and the evaluation of creative thinking was done with the Greek version of the TTCT (Torrance Test of Creative Thinking, Figural, 1998) . The results showed that each experimental group individually showed improved performance in motor creativity after the intervention program, but it was observed, after the t-test test for independent samples, in order to check if the mean difference in the improvement of the scores of the three factors of motor creativity between the two groups is statistically significant, that the two Experimental groups do not differ from each other strongly statistically significant, so the experimental group 2 is not superior to the Experimental group 1, as we had initially assumed. Regarding creative thinking, Experimental group 1 showed worse performance after the intervention, while Experimental group 2, showed improved performance in three of the six factors of creative thinking, after the intervention program. Then proceeding to t-test for independent samples, in order to check whether the mean difference in the improvement of the scores of the factors of creative thinking between the two groups is statistically significant, it was found that the mean improvement values in the scores of ease, originality and creative forces, differ from each other strongly statistically significant and in the score of flexibility differ statistically significantly, so Experimental group 2, is superior in terms of these four factors of creative thinking over Experimental group 1 after the intervention, while for the average values of improvement of In terms of the abstraction of the titles and the resistance to early closure, the two Experimental groups do not differ from each other with strong statistically significant.
