Abstract Children abuse is a complex issue, which is a social problem with severe effects on children, families and society. It is a global phenomenon, and in accordance with the WHO includes all forms of abuse (physical, emotional, sexual, neglect), within a certain relationship of trust or power with the child, and cause actual or potential harm to the health, survival, development or dignity of the child. The preschool teachers are first on the level of education (primary education). They come in daily contact with dozens of children, some of which are probably experiencing abuse. It is particularly important to have knowledge and skills for the detection, prevention and intervention of child abuse. We are trying to highlight the way in which pre-school teachers combine their experiences with prevention issues and intervention of abuse child-neglect from the family atmosphere. The research haw carried out by the method semi-structured interviews in which have participated ten pre-school teasers.
