Abstract Introduction: The globalisation of the economy has created new conditions and requirements that change daily. Innovation, flexibility and commitment to objectives require competent and qualified human resources. At the same time, the right person in the right position increases the efficiency of companies. The EFQM Model of Excellence is the tool for assessing and optimally utilising resources for greater efficiency. Particularly the e health services sector is the one that has the greatest need for the integration of quality attributes. Methods: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the hospital management processes based on the Excellence (EFQM) model by the hospital management. The data analysis is performed with the statistical package SPSS 19.0 and the Excel program. Results: Respondents positively evaluated the actions and effectiveness of the management, answering positively to the majority of questions related to management policy and strategy, human resource management, resource utilization and implementation of management procedures and overall performance of the hospital (mean> 3.5), while questions related to improving the satisfaction of users and employees of the organization gathered the least positive mean values (mean> 3). Discussion: The measurement of employee satisfaction is directly related to the quality of health services provided, and the re-evaluation of the results will lead to the continuous improvement of services and the maintenance of the competitive advantage of the organization in service delivery. A necessary condition for continuous improvement in the quality of processes is informing employees about the benefits that positive self-evaluation will bring to the organization.
