Abstract Autism spectrum disorder is one of the most common psychiatric disorders. This term - umbrella refers to autism, Asperger syndrome, Rett Syndrome and ASD not otherwise specified. ASD are disorders with organic origins and permanent nature, which mainly affect communication, language and imagination inhibiting the ability to communicate smoothly with the rest of the world and understand it . The strong differentiation between individuals with ASD leads them to move throughout the range of cognitive skills. Just these various shades are the most serious educational and therapeutic challenge. Modern studies establish the urgent of early intervention and exactly at this point the discussion of this paper begins. By suggesting that the therapeutic and educational interventions that currently exist are aimed at children with ASD but they have been rather poorly studied. So the question arises: whether it is acceptable bio - ethically for a teacher - therapist to intervene with questionable effectiveness approaches which actually have not been studied efficiently? For the purpose of this work both medical and non- medical interventions have been studied. What is proposed by this study is to take seriously the Precautionary Principle even when the dangers to children with ASD are not directly threatening. Without the protection of fundamental principles such as respect for the person, dignity, justice and beneficence it is not possible to remove any damage through proper treatment in order to prevent coercion, deception and humiliation of children with ASD, ensuring their right to participate in education.
