Title Conformal Regge theory

Abstract In this bachelor thesis we are going to review a paper published by Miguel S. Costa, Vasco Goncalves, Jo˜ao Penedone with the tittle conformal Regge theory. Firstly we introduce some fundamental concepts of Regge theory from non-relativistic scattering in quantum mechanics. Then we review some preliminaries of conformal field theory and present some useful relations necessary for the following text. In addition to that, we review a very important tool for studying conformal regge theory, which is the Mellin amplitude. Furthermore, we are investigating the correlation of Mellin amplitudes with operator product expansion and present a very similar approach with conformal partial waves. With these tools we develop the conformal Regge theory for the four-point function. The ultimate goal of conformal Regge theory is to make prediction for OPE coefficients. In this text we are focusing on N = 4 supersymmetric Yang Mills theory in the large N-limit when the theory is weak coupled. More specific, we predict OPE coefficients in leading order.
