Abstract |
This particular dissertation aims on the designing, the organisation and the implementation of
the model of Flipped Classroom mostly for teaching approach of the Dental Health through
the digital environment of the E-class in kindergarten children. During the implementation of
Flipped Classroom they conducted an educational research design in 19 kindergarten children
of region of Crete during the 2022-2023 and specifically the period of April until June 2023.
Primary target of the research is the application’s effectivity of the reverted class through the
utilization of the cooperative and virtual environment of the E-Class, reinforcing at the same
time the autonomy of Preschool children and the provision of motives for their active
involvement in the educational procedure, as well as the individually active involvement of
the parents-guardians during the interaction of the children with the platform.
The secondary learning targets are the teaching approach of Dental Health comprises the
deeper exploration in Oral Cavity, the diseases and the ways of dealing as well as the
perception of Dental Health importance in our life.
The accomplishment of the research includes the quantity and quality measurements that
originally came out of the digital or not measurements from parent and children.
Specifically, the implemented a digital questionnaire researching the logistical infrastructure
and connectivity of parent in Google Form. Digital questionnaire reflection and cover total
valuation from parents to E-Class. There was also been conducted questionnaire in paper for
investigating the previous knowledge of children (Pretest) and a digital questionnaire on the
platform about the knowledge that the acquired (Posttest).
Additionally, it concludes a teacher’s digital recording calendar in the application One Note,
evaluation knowledge test for the children of every individual theme section of Dental Health in the platform E-Class and the statistic results of the overall participation and interaction of
the lessons users in the platform.
The results of the research pointed out the positive position of the application for the Flipped
Classroom in the learning approach of Dental Health in Preschool Age. More specifically the
children who participated in this particular action research have improved importantly their
knowledge and behavioral level that haw to do with the Dental Health.
During the interaction with the digital E-Class environment, the motives for their
participation increased and at the same time their autonomy and active involvement
reinforced in the educational procedure with the teacher’s guidance, for the action into the
Class and the parent’s guardians in the E-Class platform.
