Abstract This study examines the issue of parental involvement by focusing on primary education teachers who have taught the first grades of elementary school (grades 1, 2, and 3). Specifically, it investigates these teachers' attitudes towards their collaboration with parents and their perceptions regarding the extent of parental involvement at the school and classroom levels. Data were collected through a digital questionnaire answered by 122 teachers from various regions of Greece. The results indicated that teachers maintain a positive attitude towards meetings that inform parents about their children's progress and believe that trust can be established between both parties. Additionally, the teachers expressed willingness to inform parents about school programs and issues and to assist them when they face difficulties in educating their children. The data from this study show that teachers are open to parental involvement, including responsibilities in school trips, student celebrations, and joint activities within the classroom.
