Abstract The purpose of this survey is to design, develop and evaluate a polymorphic Educational Material with the title “How to describe a person in 8 simple steps”. The issue presented in this Educational Material is related to the stages that a student of 6th grade should pass to develop a descriptive text and if that Educational Material is created, based on the principles of designing a multimedia Educational Material. The research questions concern the evaluation of the present Educational Material, in terms of the principles and methodology of distance learning, of multimedia learning and also in terms of how pleasant and easy that material can be for the students. This Educational Material was designed and implemented, using the H5P tool and was posted as a lesson on the Chamilo platform. Its formative evaluation took place in two different phases: during the first phase, after the implementation of 5 teachers of primary education, who were specialized in the distance learning methodology and the creation of educational material, they evaluated it by using a questionnaire of open questions, while in the second phase, after the implementation of 18 students of the 6th grade, they wrote a text about their impressions regarding the educational material. The answers to the questionnaire and the student’s texts were processed with the method of content analysis. After processing the results, this specific study, according to the evaluation of the experts, concludes that the Educational Material has been created, based on the principles of school Distance Learning and multimedia learning, since it is bibliographically based, has a friendly writing style, presents information in sections, is interactive, includes self-assessment activities, a combination of text and image, contains narrative elements and a pleasant avatar. This specific research also concludes, according to the assessment of the students, that the Educational Material is enjoyable, easy to use, easy for the most part, interactive, satisfactory in its duration for half of the students, provides help and promotes skills.
