Abstract Leaders, more than ever, are full of enormous challenges and potential conflicts, given today's different and rapidly changing world. In times of budget cuts, downsizing, redundancies and forced pensions, creating and maintaining working conditions conducive to communication and cooperation may be difficult. Goleman (2002), in his book Primal Leadership, argues that "great Leadership works through Emotions." Her sample was the Principals of 6 / above and above, Primary Schools of Heraklion. The results, among other things, yielded medium-intensity, positive correlations between Emotional factors and Factors of Effectiveness.
